Beautiful spring blooming tree covered in white flowers in the first two weeks in April.

This is a grafted variety, creating the uniform umbrella shape. Ungrafted plants have an irregular profile.

I am looking forward to future years, when the "umbrella" will lengthen, resulting in lower hanging branches.

Some sites show brilliant fall color. I did not notice it last fall, but will keep my eyes peeled this year.
